The club always needs new players (no one’s too small to play!) and no previous rugby/sports experience is required. Most people who join don’t even know the rules when they start. We will teach you everything you need to know.

In the very last tournament of the fall, the MIT Women’s Rugby team won the first annual Tier 3 Jamboree 7’s Tournament! They defeated the Brandeis, Holy Cross, Wellesley, and CCSU teams before facing Babson in the finals. With a glorious final-minute try, MIT took the victory and won the tournament.

This season, the team faces heavy competition in the new NEC7C league and will host their annual Prom Dress Rugby Tournament on April 26th.

MIT Women’s Rugby is always open to all students & no experience is necessary! Reach out to us at wrugby-exec@mit.edu and visit the team’s website to learn more.
