Update: Tuesday, September 1st
Due to the unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and limited cohort of students who will be invited back to campus in the fall, MIT has made the very difficult decision to cancel all varsity and club sports competitions, events, and travel for the fall semester. On-campus practice options for club sports will be scaled down and modified to meet socially distance precautions. Many clubs will be offering virtual options and social activities.
Clubs hosting large events, or events with high contact, should hire EMTs to respond to injuries. This is required for some clubs, and the CSC can help pay for it through the Referees/Officials budget category.Hire MIT EMTs
Hire an Athletic Trainer for on-field sports coverage for an upcoming game or event. We recommend 2 companies: Precision Athletic Training or Go4Ellis. If you pick Precision, let them know you’re a MIT Club Sport so you get our member price rate.Hire thru Precision AT
