COVID-19 Impacts on Club Sports

Update: Sunday March 15th
As of Friday, March 13th, all on-campus and off-campus Club Sport practices, games, and events will be suspended for the rest of the spring semester. Additionally, MIT and DAPER have made the difficult decision to close our facilities as of Monday 3/16 at 3:00pm. This was not an easy decision to make by any means, but it was deemed necessary to prevent the spread of this.

Facility Reservations

Practice space reserved in the name of club sports may only be used by members of the club.

Club sports teams competing against other teams must be at least 50% students and all team members must be eligible for a MIT club sports team.

Instructions to request special events, tournaments and/or one time practices can be found below

Requesting Recurring Practice Times

To request reoccurring, consistent practices (NOT special events, tournaments or one time practices), fill out the Club Sport practice request form:

  • Spring 2020 deadline: Sunday November 24 11:59pm
  • Summer 2020 – released in spring – deadline:Sunday May 3 11:59pm

Use this form for hardwood gyms, matted surfaces, squash courts, multipurpose room, MAC Court, spin studio, ice rink, indoor track & infield, and outdoor fields.
