The MIT Rowing Club (MITRC) was invited to the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) in Daegu, South Korea for a regatta in late August.

The 1st DGIST World-class University Rowing Festival is designed to promote global friendship and leadership of the participants from various universities, while fostering closer relationships between the participating universities. This event was structured to offer exciting and unique team building matches, including various indoor and outdoor rowing events.  MITRC competed against Cambridge University, DGIST, and Melbourne University.

The trip proved to be a phenomenal opportunity for the club and an experience they will not soon forget.
